Reselling government-mandated free foreclosure sale postings for $99 or $499 is no different from requesting $499 payment for the Xerox copies of the phone book!
For the property description by address or Block & Lot one should consult NYC Free Web site: NYC Real Estate Properties. There you can find a fairly complete descriptions, including size of the land, number of stories, Total Square Footage, Previous Sale Price, etc. Its interesting to note, that a number of for-profit real estate listings providers begged us not to provide this information! Some of them even offered to pay us to keep it off these pages! That should tell you something about these folks' ethics!
We'd like to encourage all our readers to follow our advice and not to purchase any services from paid foreclosure list providers. Most of them operate on the fringes of legality.
